Processing Times
- Orders ship within [1–3] business days (M–F, excluding holidays).
- During launches or promos, please allow an extra 1–2 business days.
Shipping Rates & Methods
- Free U.S. shipping on orders [over $65] after discounts, before tax.
- Flat-rate options shown at checkout; carriers may include USPS, UPS, or FedEx.
- We currently ship to U.S. addresses (including P.O. Boxes and APO/FPO via USPS). International shipping: [Not offered / Coming soon].
Order Tracking
You’ll receive a tracking email when your order ships. Tracking may update after the first carrier scan.
Address Changes & Order Edits
- If you need to update your address or cancel, email info@wickoryandwhimsy.com within 1 hour of placing your order.
- We are not responsible for orders shipped to an address entered incorrectly.
Delivery Issues
- Marked Delivered but not found: Check with household members and neighbors, look for an attempted-delivery notice, and contact your local carrier office. If still missing after 48 hours, email us—we’ll help investigate.
- Lost in transit (no scans for 7+ days): Email us with your order number; we’ll assist with a claim.
- Please note: carrier delays due to weather or peak seasons are outside our control.
Warm-Weather Advisory (Body Care & Candles)
- Some products (e.g., whipped body butters) may soften or melt in transit during warm months. This does not affect product safety or performance. If melted, allow to re-solidify at room temp (or 10–15 minutes in the fridge) and stir if needed.
- Bring packages indoors promptly upon delivery. We are not responsible for heat damage resulting from packages left outside.
Damaged or Incorrect Items
If your order arrives damaged or incorrect, contact us within 48 hours of delivery at info@wickoryandwhimsy.com with:
- Order number
- Photos of the shipping box, packing materials, and the item(s)
We’ll replace or refund eligible items ASAP.
Returns & Exchanges
Return Window
- Candles: Unused and unlit candles in original packaging may be returned within 14 days of delivery.
- Body Care: For safety/hygiene, body care items must be unopened and sealed to be eligible for return within 14 days of delivery.
- Final Sale: Gift cards, custom/personalized items, and clearance are final sale.
How to Start a Return
Email info@wickoryandwhimsy.com with your order number and the item(s) you’d like to return. We’ll reply with next steps and a return authorization (RMA).
Return Shipping Costs
- If the return is due to our error or a product defect, we’ll provide a prepaid label.
- For preference-based returns (e.g., changed mind), return shipping is the customer’s responsibility. Original shipping is non-refundable.
Condition Requirements
Items must be unused, in original packaging, and include all inserts/accessories. We cannot accept returns of partially used candles or opened body care.
Refunds
- Once your return is received and inspected, refunds are issued to your original payment method within 5–10 business days (timing may vary by bank).
- If your return is not approved (e.g., used product), we’ll notify you with options.
Exchanges
Fastest method: return your item for a refund and place a new order for the desired product.
Return to Sender / Refused Deliveries
Packages returned to us due to an incorrect address or refusal may be refunded minus original shipping once received. Reshipment is available for an additional shipping fee.
Allergies & Sensitivities
Our candles and body care are crafted with high-quality ingredients. If you have fragrance or ingredient sensitivities, please review product details and contact us before ordering—we’re happy to help.
Safety
Always follow candle care guidelines: trim wicks to ¼″, burn on a heat-safe surface for 3–4 hours max per session, keep away from drafts, children, and pets, and stop burning when ¼–½″ of wax remains.
